Well, the holiday weekend is almost here and there should be plenty of fresf powder after the storm passes through tomorrow night and Thursday. Cal Trans has issued an avalanch warning for Highway 89 vic Bliss State Park and the Emerald bay section of the HIghway which will no doubt be closed to through traffic until road crews can clear the road and interrupt snow accumulation on the mountain sides of the roadway. Make plans.
