It was formally announced in Argentina that the Argentine Navy submarine that has been missing for a year has been found. The hull was discovered by searchers using remote controlled robotic submersibles in 3000' of water, lying on the bottom, intact. 44 crewmen were on board at the time it disappeared on a routine training patrol as it returned from the vicinity of the Falkland Islands.
Families who lost loved ones were notified privately by the government. Their wait is over, and now they can grieve for those lost at sea. An investigation has begun on the cause of the disaster.
