Well, it's been awhile since the 'Bard' made a splash. Actually, it's been 400 years since he plied his craft in merry olde England. Yes, that's right: 400 big ones. While he left lots of examples of his work, he left precious little of his private life or of his financials.
We must content ourselves to discern the man from his writing: not easy and subject to lots of speculation.
So, while adjusting your skiis, think of "Hamlet"; The Merchant of Venice, Henry the V, Romeo and Juliet, and on and on and on.
