Only days away, the Irish celebration that sweeps the West jumps off locally with the traditional parade, Saturday. It will be preceded by the traditional pre parade brunch at the Bay View Yacht Club on the Southern Waterfront, near Kelly's and Pier 50. Should be good.

As my favorite "eyetalian" I am proud of you for mentioning the parade. I am going even if John Burton is the Marshal. I did't go last year. Why? I don't remember but a couple of years ago, Frances Leigh (Meg's daughter) who does Irish Dancing was in it. And, Lilly of course was there and with her blond curly hair, people were taking pics as she looked like the prototype little Irish kid.
