Milwaukee Brewers Win the World Series

    A first in major league baseball: the Milwaukee Brewers won their first World Series, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 of 2026 World Series in Florida.  The young pitcher for the Brewers, Misirowski was the winning pitcher, going 5 1/3 innings before an injury forced him to the dugout. The relievers set the batters down allowing only 2 more hits and one run, losing 4-1.

     While not on their home park, the team members celebrated the historic win appropriately in Florida. MLB CEO gave the trophy to team own Anastasio who thanked all the players who made it possible with a MLB leading 103 win season.  Brewer catcher, William Contreras, was the MVP.

    The Team will return to Milwaukee where local fans will honor their victory with a parade and a town party.

World Series: Game 4-Life For Rays

    It seemed that after 11 innings and a tie score, the end appeared: Cooper Pratt hit a solo home run in the top of the 12th. Score now 3-2, Brewers. But the Rays came to life in the bottom half. Brewers pitching collapsed, and the Rays would not be denied.

     It started with some benign base hits, then more. A stolen base, a stretched run to 3rd base, another hit= score tied, and no outs. And then the walk off hit-Rays win: 4-3.

Russyan Army Starves Civilian Prisoners in Oleshky

      So, how are things going for the"Little Green Men" from the Rus army of occupation in Ukraine where they invaded almost 5 years ago?   Well,, since thaat long ago time, the local civilians have been held as captives, unable to move, to flee, or seek any refuge from the Rus soldiers.  They have been trapped in the surreal world of the Rus military operation that has attempted to impose authority over the sovereign neighboring nation they invaded without just cause.

      This is the result of the Kremlin policy fostered by the Dictator Vladimir VOVA Putin- The Mad Russyan of the 21st Century. Now a truce has been declared that will ostensibly be used to allow these prisoners the possibility of escape from captivity. These poor victims of Putin's madness will have to wait until the roads are de-mined, the path is taken off target lists, and preparations are completed to teransport those civilians to safety in the western portions of Ukraine under control of the Ukrainian military.

      That these poor victims have been starving since May, 2026, underscores the inhumane treatment by the Kremlin for civilians wherever they are.  The policies put in place by the Kremlin, carried out by Rus Army officers clearly indicates the crimes wrought by the regime of Putin. The world cannot gather enough strength to thwart the Kremlin's goals of domination. The cost to the country of Russya-the largest country in the world, are incalculable.

      Soon, Mad Vlad will age out but the effects of his criminal activities spread over the Asian landscape will linger for generations. The world will never forgive nor forget this inhumanity.  

Oval V. Obama

     So, we have a former POTUS speaking publicly about the current POTUS.  My, my, my. Well said, Pres. Obama.  sTrump is focused on the White House because he can't focus on anything serious, including the Economy; Gaza War; Iranian War; Ukrainian V.  Russya War; AI; Data Center Wars; and China.

     Hmmmm.. Do we detect signs of mental illness? Do patients with mental health issues enter a comfort zone of fantasy worlds? Does DJT live in  his own "Fantasy World "?  Thw country watches as the mid-term elections approach.

     Former Pres. Obama got to sTumpie by comparing his focus on gold accents and Cheesecake  Factory style as oddments of Oval concerns in light   of world events.

A Laugher in Florida

        It had to happen: the home team slept in their own beds while the visitors were in the Ritz-Carlton tossing and  turning all night long.  The starting pitcher for the Rays was heard snoring like a bull moose as he was so relaxed.  The Brewers were only slightly tensed up: they had a 2-Game lead going into Game 3. Then the Gods of Fates(aka the Fates) danced around the pole and decided a laugher was in order in Florida(given the politics of RED).

      The Game started easily as the visitors put a couple of runs on the board. Nobody was concerned much among Floridians. And then, and then, and then some more: the Wheels fell off-not just two wheels, but all 4 wheels rolled away into a drainage canal filled with 'gators, big, big gators, hungry Gators.  Angry Gators; Gators with small, prehistoric brains focused only on food.

     Boom, bang, bang, as line drives ricocheted off the outfield walls; runners advanced with glee as the Rays pitchers lost control of the Game 3 local advantages. Long faces twisted with grimace as the Home Boys sputtered and convulsed as the visitors' score advanced in leaps and bounds. Hits advanced among the interlopers reaching double figures and the locals were mired in a single digit-a one no less! Woe, woe, woe. Soon it was 10; then over. When will the nightmare end, the silence was deafening.

   Then the Brewers brought in Woodruff to close it out. Big Woody did the job. A couple of runners wobbled around the infield and the Rays scored 1 : final score 10-1. Rays had 3 hits(2 in the 9th); Brewers -16 hits.

    A devastating loss by any measure. Rays down 3-0. Game 4 looks good for the visitors. 

WALL STREETERS Squirming with Debt

     So, we wake up today(and others recently) to find a dribble of information regarding an accumulation 

of debt taken on by our dear friends the investment bankers of Wall St., those loveable ladies and gents without hearts or brains, only unlimited dollars to throw around to sway the economy in their favor. Nothing new here. We saw it all in 2008 when they collectively crashed the nation 's economy and staggered the world economy.

     So, most recently the Wall St. bros have been dancing with platoons of "tech" bros to be at the head of the tech boom of late that promises even more billions (and trillions) to create more inequity among the peasants. The feckless government officials( the Oval, etc., the Congress, the State Houses, the Academics) have been wandering about the Beltway trying to make sense of what has been going on- eg. the Data Center explosion, the AI explosion, the Endless Wars continuation. None of this is being managed with any certainty.

    The Wall Streeters are banging their heads into the bricks on the Wall ST. sidewalks. What to do, what to do. More debt? More loans ? Higher interest payments? Is it a "BUBBLE"? What do the 'Soothsayers' tell? Oh, my.   The gods sit around laughing and laughing some more as Zeus takes aim at the collective greed that now appears to have seized the moment. A special thanks to King Elon who is going to merge two of his companies. Good work, Zeus.

     The AI Bubble is approaching fast; WALL St. is on the verge of panic. And with the interim elections only a week away, the investment bankers will not sleep a wink until after Thanksgiving. Woe the banker(s) who sleep through these events.

World Series: Game 3 Tonight

    So, as the midterm elections approach, baseball is having it's October moment. There's been lots of drama so far and we're only two games into the best -of-Seven series.  Now we go down south---way way way down south-to the Red State of Florida-home to many former Northerners form Milwaukee, etc.,etc.

      The Brewers are up 2-0. The Rays want to get back into the fray with a win or two while at home. It's not over 'til it's over, so let's not get too comfortable with a 2-0 lead(as a Brewers Backer). It's been fun watching a team in 2026 play small ball(base hits, bunts, base stealing, and throwing out attempts to steal a base.  And the pitching has had lots of high points to warm the hearts of all baseball fans: high velocity throwers making hitters into statues.

     Coaches have been models of good behavior: eyes on the game, limited pacing in the dugouts, and issuing orders slowly and directly to assistants= good management skills we can all appreciate.

   Tonight, in an hour, we can enjoy Game 3: watch it.
